The Story Behind
Motion Art
Motion Art Photography was born from a simple obsession: the moment light falls perfectly on a face, the split-second when emotion overflows and the world holds still — that is what we chase with every frame.
Founded in Edmonton, Alberta, our studio began as a passion project by lead photographer Sarab. What started as weekend portrait sessions grew into a full-service studio trusted by couples, individuals, and brands across Canada.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of photographing hundreds of sessions across Alberta and beyond. Each one has deepened our understanding of what it means to witness and document a human story with care.
We are a small, intentional studio. We limit our bookings each season so that we can give every client our complete creative focus. When you work with us, you are not just hiring a photographer — you are inviting a collaborator.

I am a self-taught photographer based in Edmonton, Alberta, with a deep passion for capturing authentic human moments. My approach is built on patience, presence, and a genuine curiosity about the people in front of my lens.
I believe that the best photographs are the ones where the subject forgets they are being photographed. My sessions are unhurried, conversational, and built on genuine connection.
When I’m not behind the camera, I explore the landscapes of Alberta and find inspiration in the quiet details of everyday life.
